From Genuine Girl word for word-

    Dear Mommy,

Mommy I love you. You are so beautiful. You are so cuddly. You are so good. I love you very much mommy. How ya doin’? Is the baby here yet?

    Love, Genuine Girl

  3. Ben Says:

Wow… that was cool… Daughter talking to her mother over a blog as they are having a baby… WHO would have thought??

    Gotta love technology. :)

  4. Anne-Marie Says:

Oh my gosh, you guys! Good luck. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  5. Tom Says:

You have married a very understaning woman. My wife would have killed me if I had the laptop open while she was laying there in the bed.

  6. Jessica Says:

Great looking mommy laying there still smiling!! Hope she doesn’t stop smiling!! Keep up the blogging!

  7. buffi Says:

I would have been stealing the laptop for myself. I think you have the sweetest little girl short of my own! Hang in there Mrs. G. We are all thinking of you!

  8. Danica Says:

Go Mrs G go! And Mr G, whatever she says, whatever she asks for, just give it to her already. :)

  9. steve Says:

My prayers go to y’all! May God bless the birth of the new little one!!

  10. Mamacita Says:

Michelle, where is your popsicle? I TOLD Jim to bring you a popsicle.

That’s not an innuendo. I’m talking about frozen confections here.

Popsicles make your labor shorter. It’s a proven fact. If two kids are proof, that is.

    Popsicles, and riding lawn mowers.

    I recommend the popsicles.

    Besides, I just like popsicles.

Tell Jim to bring you one and take your picture with it so I’ll know he obeyed me.

Awww – did you all read what Genuine Girl said…… Mrs G you are one brave woman allowing a labor photo to be broadcast on the internets – I won’t even let a plain old regular photo be broadcast.
It’s 4:00 CST – - time to go home and my finger is getting tired of clicking refresh. Best wishes to the whole clan & I hope to see a photo of the newest Genuine 1st thing tomorrow morning.

  12. CYNDY Says:

WOW MRS. G….. You must be a hell of a good natured mom/wife…..that’s amazing…GENUINE give her a big kiss from all of us.

  13. Tish Says:

  14. Jenn Says:

Geniune, I cannot wait until she hits transition and goes after that laptop to “reposition it” for you. HA!

Good luck you two. I can’t wait to hear all about it and see the new baby!

  21. One By One Media » Robert Scoble To Become A Daddy Blogger Says:

[...] Robert Scoble announced on his blog today that he is going to be a new father in September.  Congrats to Robert but even more to Maryam.  Robert now can enter into my world as a Daddy Blogger.  Yeah he had Patrick already, but there is nothing like blogging the experience.  I of course got my start in blogging as a Daddy blogger, a way of talking about my kids and what it was like to be a father of two young ones.  It was so great, I had two more kids.  My excuse was that I needed more blog fodder.  In the comments on his post, he says that Maryam is nixing any ideas of podcasting or videoblogging the event.  I know this is Maryam’s first time as being a Mom, so she gets the first one for free, but be aware Maryam, I live blogged my third child.  My wife could only roll her eyes and try to explain the blogosphere to the nurse in the birthing room.  I would have explained it but I was too busy posting and checking stats.  [...]
