Mrs. G has to go back to work next Monday. So what do you think should we practice getting up at 5:00 a.m. to be ready to go to work on time or let us go cold turkey and let it hit us like a freight train on Monday morning? Any ideas?
Freight train. It's the only way.
Besides, if your alarm goes off at 5:00 AM on Saturday, you won't believe it.
Oh, my brain says practice, but I doubt I could follow through. I'd probably do the cold turkey thing and then be a zombie for the first week.
Of course, you guys are young and fertile (obviously), so cold-turkey might just work for you!
You could just be stoopid like me and practice a day early without meaning to. I sent my son off to take a make-over exam halfway across the city this morning because I thought it was August 10th. So we'll be good to go tomorrow.
She has to go back already? Poor girl! I went back to work after two months. On day one, I was delighted to be back until about 10 a.m. Then I wanted to go back to my baby. No such luck. :-(
Collect all the sleep you can.No amount of practice really helps anything like this...so why waste sleep?
mmm ... cold turkey.
on wheat bread ... with a little bit of mayo and maybe some cranberry sauce. wowza.
what were we talking about again?
I say cold turkey - that's what we'll be doing when our oldest starts the big K on Monday as well. I plan drinking up the last of my morning snuggles as much as I can this week. I would suggest doing the same...
If you're morning people then you really don't need the practice, but if you're night owls, then practice. Wait, you mean baby Genuine isn't forcing you to practice?
practise getting up and dodging the freight train. Hey, with a new baby aren't you up at 5.00am anyways?
Cold turkey...while you are at it throw in a little dressing, gravy and yams.. sorrry, when we talk food I get carried away
