The nomination was had and the mud slinging began. My running mate is now under attack for being a homo sapiens. Although I do not take a stand on this issue, I find the tactics being used as underhanded and completely out of line for the platform of the Blog Party. I will launch a complete investigation into this conduct and I am certain that with a few drinks and a party or two we can clear up this misunderstanding. I offer as an olive branch one bottle of 12 year old scotch to these persons that feel that an attack on one man's status should be a campaign issue. Once we have determined our response to this attack we will make further announcements. In the meantime, the first round is on me.
