Chime in with what you are drinking this evening, and I'll try to make sure your glass is never empty! I have posted a small pic of my drink of choice---->, and the Mrs. is already a few up on me. I usually always have to give her a head start.
I'm hoping the comments can handle everything like an IM program for those of you that want to talk just by comment. I will be able to respond to each of your comments directly through email of course. Feel free to post your email addy in the comment section behind any comments if you want anyone else to email you with their comments.
Just so you can have a view of the Mrs. and me as we party, I'll include an old photo with us smiling. We don't smile like this anymore since having children. If you see us smiling like this, we are either drunk, faking it, or a combination of the two. This was taken on our way to the Cayman Islands to Grand Cayman. Mrs. G and I would swim with the stingrays the next day!
I have a web cam for those of you on Yahoo IM and we have it set up so you can watch us type away as we talk and mingle throughout the party. If you have a web cam set up, let others know. I think there is a way to set up some sort of group chat if we can. I am playing this by ear because this is of course is our first party.
During the party we will be announcing winners of prizes. We have yet to figure out how people will win prizes, but I'm sure we can come up with something. I was thinking I might post a list of items you have to find on a scavenger hunt in the blogosphere. Either that or the first one to make me spit my drink on the screen. Maybe you have some ideas. Everyone that participates in the party will get a button to post on their site that you participated in the Genuine Party. Then maybe we will have a monthly party for the rest of those that did not get to come.
Make sure your house is clean, because we may be crashing other blogs as well, and you would hate to have everyone see your dirty house.

Howdy neighbor! We've got PBSKids on the tube and Boo Girl, Monkey Boy and I are all in our PJs. Big Bad Dad's in west Wisconsin by the Minn. border hunting. Oh yeah, I'm over surfing BlogExplosion, too and downloading pictures into Photoshop.

Well w/o Yahoo IM, I'm feeling about as homeless as a poker chip on a Saturday night, and as shut out as the Dodgers in most any season.
The IM thing is waaaay out of control. I can't tell who's talking to whom. But the webcam of the Genuine household (and Genuine baby!) was cool.

As you may be able to tell from my late arrival, I'm a bit slow on the old key board. The IM party sounds great, so while I missed this one, picture me next time as the wall flower barely able to talk, and commenting on discussions that took place 15 minutes ago.
