Genuine Girl was in the mood to talk to a few people on the phone. She talked to her Aunt, and thn wanted to call her Grandma in Houston. I was building a sandwich when the conversation began:
Genuine Girl: Hi Grandma!
Grandma speaks and I assume asks her how she is doing. The asks her what she is doing.
Genuine Girl: We're watching football.
Grandma makes comment.
Genuine Girl: What are you doing?
Grandma answers.
Genuine Girl: *very inquisitive look*
Genuine Girl: Making Jello shots?????
Mrs. G: That's a nice thing to teach mother!!!!!
Thinking about Jello shots makes my head hurt. I should have made some for the party last night we all could have had fun! I wonder if Grandma is going to do a Jello shot for every Texans' score? Go Texans! Wait a minute, isn't this a school night?
ROFL! GO GRANDMA!!! That is too funny! Grandma's don't need to worry about school nights ;-)
Sorry I missed last night - sounds like you all had a lot of fun! Hope that hangover has gone by now!
I see the Genuine apple doesnt fall from the Genuine tree....Next time invite Grama to the party too!!!
Very nice! Next time you are in Houston visiting Grandma - come see me and we can all have jello shots!
What you really mean is go Packers. Game is going on right now and the Packers are winning, this is good. Good luck losing.
I'll unlurk long enough to say that I live in Houston as well... you must have a Houston following! And I don't care if it is a school night because actually... my district has the whole week off! Yeehaw! (Just had to keep up the stereotype :-)
Jello shot? I have never heard of this concoction before. I am a lowly beer or Hefeweisen(nectar of the gods) drinker. It sounds ghastly sweet.
My grandma, (you know the one who used to travel with the circus) she had two drinks every night. One at five that she would nurse until dinner, and one after dinner that she must have worked on very slowly, because it always stayed full. Or did it stay refilled? aAh, Grandma, you were a lush…go Gram's.
What a party animal Grandma is. I need to look her up. Next time you visit Grandma in H-Town, we can all have a wild party! Texans lost ;-( Boo!
My MIL got sick of having to drive to Louisiana to play slots, so she bought two slot machines for her house. I go over last week and the 4 yo is sitting on a stool trying to get the cherries to line up so the music can play! Gambling & jello shots -- these two should get together!
