It does not matter which way the verdict goes in this criminal case involving Michael Jackson, but I have a feeling a few servers are going to crash whether guilty or acquitted. You think this might be covered in the blogosphere? We are about 10 minutes away from finding out!
UPDATE: By now of course if you have any type of communication device you know that the jury has acquitted Michael Jackson on all counts.
My question now to the 8 jurors that have children........Michael would like to thank all of you. He is sending each of you on a night out with your significant other. He has volunteered to babysit. Which of you are taking him up on it?
OK, fine...Not Guilty (note...Not Guilty in no way means innocent!)
The next parent to allow their children to spend ANY time at Neverland Ranch should be tried for Stupidity.
Proof once again that we have a legal system not a justice system.
They have robbed me of the prison pics - bastards!!!
I take solice in the knowledge of three things:
1) The burden of proof in a civil case is lighter than in a federal criminal trial. If the family sues Jackson (which they likely will) there is a greater possibility of a guilty verdict.
2) This is the beginning of the end of Michale Jackson as a visible public icon. He is likely to drift slowly into obscurity and isolation - hopefully far out of reach of any minor children.
3) He might fool a jury of 12. He might fool millions of fans worldwide. But he will never fool God. He's getting what's coming to him one way or another.
Maybe no takers. I found the legal explanation interesting. He was NOT found to be innocent of any wrongdoing, he was found to be not guilty of the charges and evidence that was put into the record. Even Jesse Jackson said that MJ ought to learn from his mistakes here and change his nieve practice of having kids sleepover. Even if he isn't guilty, there is a feeling that this is improper behavior for a 47 year old.
May have been acquitted, but he's still creeps me out....a shame, too, because I was such a fan of his while growing up.
Ice cream party at Neverland! My kids already got their invites in the mail! Woot!
