Butter....Parkay
Okay so the title dates me somewhat, but I do remember the commercials of the past. As I read about the firestorm in California, coupled with the flooding on the gulf coast, I could not help but think of the Parkay commercial of my childhood.
"It's not nice to fool mother nature."

I don't want to draw any frightful conclusions like the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, but I am watching the skies from this point forward. That brimstone stuff must really hurt.

You read my mind because I was thinking, on my way to work - I often think on my way to work since I can't blog! - it wouldn't be too hard to look at the weather this month and think the world was falling apart! I am sure it is totally 'natural' it just seems a little more intense this year!

Hmm is it the end of the world??? Maybe not I still have too much work to do. The end won't come until it's all done and the bills are paid, just so I have to do it all.

I remember that commercial! But wasn't it for Chiffon margarine not Parkay?

The only Parkay commercial I remember is the one where the box talks and says, "Parkaa-ay."
